Meet the Urbini Omni Plus

When choosing a stroller, there are many considerations to make. The Urbini Omni Plus is a stroller, car seat, and carrier all in one. It’s looking to be most appealing to pregnant parents looking for a dependable travel system for their kids.

Value for Money

Most other high-end travel systems on the market are more expensive than the Omni Plus, which costs between $150 and $200. It includes many functions found in other travel systems, including the ability to act as a stroller, bassinet, and car seat. The Urbini is less expensive than the competitors; however, it has major performance issues.

What parents say

“The cost is within the reach of almost everyone. On this one, I have no issues. I advise everyone to buy it since it is worthwhile.” – M. January 25, 2019, 5 stars

Ease of Use

The Omni Plus is mostly operated by pushing buttons, pulling levers, and sliding various devices into position. Simply push the red lever on the stroller’s side to disengage the carrier from the carriage. You then press up on a red clasp to detach the carrier from its base so that it can convert into a car seat.

What parents say

“I appreciate that there are several positions for placing the infant. The wheels of this stroller frequently get stuck, which is the only aspect I HATE. To lock or unlock the wheels, we’ve tried pressing on the brake, but it has no effect.” – S. July 2, 2019, 3 stars

“I like that I can see my little one while walking. It’s something I couldn’t do with the first stroller I bought.” – C. May 7, 2019, 5 stars

“While folding this stroller needs two hands, you can make other configurations with the stroller and click-connect car seat. It’s just helpful for any occasion.” – M. January 25, 2019, 5 stars

Portability

This stroller can support children who weigh up to 50 lbs. Using a car seat, you can carry a maximum amount weight of 35 lbs.

With a weight of over 30 lbs., the Urbini Omni Plus is quite heavy. Parents have reported that it can be difficult to maneuver because of this aspect and its plastic wheels, therefore gathering negative ratings.

Maneuverability

For ultimate infant security when you need to take a quick break, the Omni Plus has both a front-wheel and back-wheel locking mechanism. Here’s where the downside lies – its wheels could lock at any time while you’re pushing the stroller along, which could be unsafe and uncomfortable for your baby. This is one of the main complaints of parents – this stroller’s wheels get stuck, making it more challenging to steer and maneuver.

What parents say

“I really like this travel system, although the steering might be a pain. I discovered that some stroller frames can have a manufacturer’s problem.” – O. August 8, 2018, 3 stars

Parent Tip!

Press the rounded buttons on top of the front wheels if you are having steering problems. This helps to make sure that the front wheels won’t lock.

Safety and Quality

The stroller has several really amazing features. Its quality is the only problem. Your baby might feel uncomfortable because the stroller is fairly fragile and the infant car seat is very small with insufficient padding all around.

What parents say

“The phrase “worst stroller” is accurate. Several weeks into use, the front wheels quit turning.” – Y. March 2, 2020, 1 star

“This stroller is fantastic but after three months, the front tire starts to feel like something is under it, and you have to put weight on the handle to turn it or keep it straight.” – R. July 28, 2019, 2 stars

“This product is not at all something I would recommend. Bassinet and car seat were both as rigid as a rock.” – A. June 12, 2019, 1 star
