Meet the Stokke Beat Stroller

In 2019, Stokke debuted the sleek, urban Stokke Beat stroller. The Beat is lightweight and reasonably small considering all it can do. This stroller can be moved through any aisle in a store or a narrow street, thanks to its 53.5cm-wide footprint. It can handle any surface due to its four-wheel suspension and heel- and flip-flop-friendly braking. Despite requiring more than one step to fold, it may also be folded one-handedly.

Value for Money

With so many features packed into the $599 Stokke Beat stroller, it’s impossible to imagine having a kid without one.

It features the following:

  • A fully reversible seat that’s fully reclinable
  • The backrest and adjustable footrest have a single-hand recline
  • An extendable UV hood
  • A large shopping basket with a weight capacity of 10 kg
  • A seat with a high weight capacity of up to 22 kg
  • A full-featured carrycot with an extendable hood
  • Adapters for well-known car seat brands such as Maxi-Cosi
  • A rain cover
  • A UV mosquito net

Unfortunately, several parents criticize its qualities and capabilities. Also, if you intend to purchase this stroller, you may want to check various internet retailers since Amazon does not currently carry it.

What parents say

“I regret having purchased this stroller. In fact, I almost despise it. Funny enough, my friend has the same model and loves it. This is one of the worst since it costs so much money and I’ve already gone through 30 pushchairs.” – I. February 03, 2020, 2 stars

Ease of Use

When folded, the seats of the Beat stroller can either face the parents or the outside world, which is very convenient. For your child’s comfort and protection from outside disturbances like light and noise, there is an extended canopy with a contemporary form that provides ventilation.

In addition, with just one hand, the footrest and seat may be adjusted. The fully reclinable and reversible seat is cozy.

What parents say

“The leg rest doesn’t achieve a fully horizontal, flat position. It’s somewhat slouched.” – K. December 19, 2019, 2 stars

“The leg rest is made of flimsy plastic and doesn’t usually lock securely.” – I. May 17, 2020, 3 stars

Portability

The Stokke Beat is a great option for travel, negotiating congested streets, and using public transportation because of its compact footprint. Additionally, creating a travel system with specific car seats for this multipurpose stroller is possible.

What parents say

“If you’re seeking for little strollers that are still big enough for the infant to enjoy the journey, this size is ideal.” – M. June 01, 2022, 4 stars

“I like it a lot overall. It features a reversible seat and is light and nimble.” – R. April 04 2021, 4 stars

“After folding, it is both roomy and small while being lightweight and maneuverable. I adore this stroller because I’m a city mom.” – A. November 01, 2019, 4 stars

“It is simple to fold and stow in an apartment or a car.” – I. May 17, 2020, 3 stars

Maneuverability

With its huge, durable wheels made of puncture-free material and clear shock absorbers in the front wheels, the Stokke Beat stroller is incredibly maneuverable and does an incredible job of tackling those tight bends of everyday life. The result is a super smooth ride for your baby! With the flipflop-safe brake, bringing this stroller to a stop is a breeze.

However, parents have complained that the wheels squeak and feel flimsy.

What parents say

“They mentioned that it has suspension, but I feel none. Rubber is a wonderful material for the wheels because it will prolong their lifespan. They show almost no signs of half-year use.” – M. May 25, 2020, 2 stars

Safety and Quality

For further protection for your child, the Beat has a padded 5-point harness and a double-hinged 360-degree seat rail. Its extendable UV hood and sizable shopping basket with a 10kg weight capacity are additional benefits. A high weight capacity of up to 22kg is another feature of the seat unit.

What parents say

“The stroller is not very good. It seems to be made of plastic. Ours has a lot of issues after barely being used. It seems to make sense why this model was dropped quickly after release. Stokke made a mistake.” – S. May 25, 2021, 2 stars

“Since the beginning, the front wheels’ locking mechanism was inoperative. I invoked the warranty, but they couldn’t simply change it out because there weren’t any spare parts available. I had to leave the stroller there while they fixed it.” – M. May 25, 2020, 2 stars

“The front wheels don’t fit firmly in their positions. The wheel locks don’t always function. The plastics aren’t solid enough.” – I. February 03, 2020, 2 stars

Accessorize Your Stokke Beat

The Stokke Beat can be used as a full-featured system from birth. It has a full-featured carrycot with an extensible cover and adapters for popular car seat brands with the Maxi-Cosi attachment. Its seat can also be used for newborns who are not yet able to sit independently.

A UV mosquito net and a rain cover are included with the Beat. A cup holder is one of the many additional accessories that are available. To make the Beat even cozier for your little one, you may add on a Stokke Beat Carry Cot, Stokke Stroller Softbag, or Stokke Stroller Infant Insert.

Should You Consider the Stokke Beat Stroller?

With a weight of under 21 pounds and a width of just 21 inches, the Stokke Beat is among the smallest and lightest full-sized strollers available today. The seat can be faced either way. This stroller also folds with just one hand, making it simple to store and lift.

It can be difficult to find a stroller that isn’t too bulky while feeling sturdy. If you are searching for a durable stroller that’s comfortable, fold easily, has a large storage area that adapts to family’s needs, and easy to haul in and out of the car, then the Stokke Beat could be a practical option for you.
