Snow Leopards by Tilly

Snow leopards live in the high mountains of Asia.  They are very good at camouflaging in the mountains.

They have large paws to grip and long tails to balance to help them climb.

They are endangered and rare to see

They live in lairs on the side of the mountain.

They rub their cheek on high rocks and spray wee to know where other snow leopards are and they can recognise other’s scent.

They don’t have very much food around them, so that’s why they live alone.

They eat goats, rabbits, sheep and birds and can eat things three times their size. They eat almost anything they can catch.
