As part of our goal to make life as simple as possible for parents and families we like to write honest and helpful reviews of popular products and services that moms and dads might need.
There is a ton of information out there – most of it confusing and incomplete and, sadly, a lot of it is biased and/or inaccurate.
To put that right we’re working with fellow parents to get truthful, unbiased opinions on the best baby products for the modern family.
We’re looking for reports direct from the trenches – that is, we’d like to hear from moms and dads just like you on what you like / don’t like about the things you’ve bought.
We’d like to hear the sort of things you wish you’d known when you were starting out.
That’s why we’ve set up the Stuff4Tots Product Testing Club.
We’re looking to help moms and dads out on the (very) expensive journey into parenthood and, in return, we’ll compensate reviewers for their time.
How does your Stuff4Tots Product Testing Club work?
Put your details in the form below and we’ll add you to our list.
We’ll send out an email whenever we need reviews of a certain product or type of product.
For example, right now, we are looking at pack ‘n plays and playards and what people think about them, what they like about the one they’ve got and what they would improve on if they could. And, the million dollar question, would they buy it again if they knew then what they know now?
People who have the specific product we want a review on (in this case a pack ‘n play) can reply back and let us know that they want to take part.
What we’d like from our reviewers is a short video of about 2 to 5 minutes (nothing fancy just use your phone) showing the product in use and your voice (we’d love you to appear on the video but you don’t have to if you don’t want to) describing it.
Send us the video and, to compensate for your time, we’ll send $50 to your paypal account.
Help other moms and dads out and earn $50 for a few minutes of your time!
Sounds good? Fill in your details below and register your interest.
Do you send out free products in return for a review?
In short, no.
The reason being is that there are lots of review clubs out there and a lot of bloggers who offer reviews in exchange for free samples.
What they soon learn is that if they give negative reviews they stop getting free samples.
What do you think that’s done to the honesty and integrity of the review? Yeah. Not trust-worthy right? And no real help at all to a parent researching a purchase.
Instead we compensate people for their time they spend making and sending us a review video. We’d love you to send us your reviews for free but I’m guessing you’ve got better things to do with your time hey? 🙂 But, for the Stuff4Tots Review Club, it doesn’t matter if the review is positive, negative or somewhere in-between. It just needs to be helpful feedback.
Going forward we may partner with companies who do want to send out free samples, so we’re not 100% ruling it out, but only if we can do this without harming the honesty and integrity (and usefulness) of our reviews.
Why are you doing this? What’s in it for Stuff4Tots?
Our business is set up around being a useful resource to parents of young children.
The more helpful we can be to other moms and dads then the more successful our business will be.
That’s why we’re investing a little money in order to compile the most useful parenting advice out there – unbiased advice straight from the mouths of fellow mothers and fathers.
We don’t have a huge budget for our Stuff4Tots Product Testing Club. That’s why we’ll have to limit the number of people who apply for each product review – we simply can’t afford to pay dozens of people for a review.
But we’re hoping that a small(ish) investment will pay us back over time with happy customers.
Join the Stuff4Tots Product Testing Club today
It’s free to sign up so put your details in the form below. We can’t promise that everyone will get a chance to do a review (we can’t afford to do too many of these!) but we’ll try to spread it around as fairly as possible. You may just have to be a little patient please.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
