Meet the Nuna Demi Grow Convertible Stroller

The Nuna Demi Grow is a stylish, contemporary stroller that expands to meet the demands of a growing family. It is appropriate for siblings or twins. You can fasten two regular seats, a bassinet, or two child car seats to it. Each seat’s maximum weight limit is 50 lbs.

Does this stroller sound interesting? One thing to note is that it’s currently not available on Amazon. Please check other webstores if you are planning to consider this stroller.

Value for Money

The following updates were made to the Nuna Demi Grow in 2021:

  • The handlebar and bumper bar are currently made of cognac brown leatherette, while those on the prior model were black.
  • Nuna no longer offers the Aspen Blue hue; as of 2021, the Nuna Demi Grow is only available in Caviar Black and Frost Gray.
  • The seat belts on the 2021 Demi Grow use magnets to make it easier to fasten your child) into their seats.
  • The price of the 2021 model was increased from $799 to $899.

If you’re considering the Demi Grow, there’s a good chance you’re also thinking about the equally capable UPPAbaby Vista convertible stroller (which costs $929–$999). In terms of cost and compatibility, the Vista receives a tiny advantage because it includes a bassinet, whereas Nuna offers the newborn bassinet for an additional $249.

If only looking at the price and if you know that you want a bassinet, perhaps the UPPAbaby Vista could be a better deal. But then again, the Demi Grow and Vista are very different strollers.

What parents say

“Both my infant and my 3-year-old love it! There is a ton of space and it rides so smoothly! And it looks fantastic, too! Absolutely a fantastic purchase!” – S., 5 stars

Ease of Use

One parent appreciates that this stroller is so straightforward to assemble. She didn’t even have to look at the manual. Simply unfold the stroller, put the wheels on, and click the seat into place to get started.

With the Nuna Demi Grow, 23 different setups are possible. It implies that this stroller could last a very long time.

Additionally, it means that your child can be forward or rear facing on the top, in a car seat, pram, or stroller seat. You’ll have years to discover the seemingly limitless possibilities. One hiccup though, is that the bottom seat cannot be turned to rear-face.

What parents say

“It was simple to put together, elegant, and robust.” – L., 5 stars

“I had no idea this stroller would be so large, but I don’t regret the purchase. It glides flawlessly over a variety of terrain and is quite simple to use.” – C., 5 stars

Portability

The Nuna Demi Grow weighs 27.4 lbs. when used as a single stroller. Keep in mind that convertible strollers typically weigh more than this.

The weight of the Demi Grow cannot really be compared to that of other “genuine” single strollers because the comparison would be unfair. To give you an idea, the GB Pockit+ is one of several single strollers that weighs under 13 pounds.

This stroller’s weight in doubles mode, 35.6 lbs., is comparable to other doubles and convertibles of similar size. For comparison purposes, the UPPAbaby Vista weighs 32.8 lbs., the Thule Sleek weighs 35 lbs., and a double Bob weighs 33 lbs. Yes, the Demi Grow is unquestionably toward the heavier end of this stroller type.

What parents say

“The second seat only fits underneath and you lose storage room, which is my only concern about this stroller.” – C., 5 stars

“I didn’t feel like I could see where I was going because I’m just 5’4″ and the stroller is pretty tall.” – M., 4 stars

“When you’re ready to use it outside of the car, it’s simple to set up. The Demi is fantastic in every way.” – A., 5 stars

“I don’t feel too short to be pushing this stroller at all. It’s simple to put in and pull out of the hatch.” – A., 5 stars

Maneuverability

This stroller is simple to maneuver on all types of terrain, such as paved roads, hiking trails, etc., even in doubles mode with both seats attached. It actually pushes like a single since the center of gravity is so far to the rear.

One hiccup with tandem convertibles – since they are so long, they are challenging to look over for women who are particularly short. It’s because the sibling seat on the Demi Grow is almost stacked under the primary seat, unlike other double strollers where it is attached on the front of the stroller.

What parents say

“I’ve had an obsession with this stroller for a few years. When it is in double mode, I enjoy how it is simple to push and has linear weight control with stackable seats. This has an exquisite design.” – K., 5 stars

“This stroller moves a lot smoothly compared to a Target shopping cart. The quality is amazing.” – A. 5 stars

“This stroller really impresses me! I admire its smooth drive. It feels of higher quality and has nicer wheels.” – S., 5 stars

Safety and Quality

The MagneTech Secure Snap, which is effectively a self-guiding magnetic buckle that automatically locks into position, is a new feature on the 2021 model.

Although it is understandable how this feature would make it simpler to fasten children into their seats, it could also follow that children might find it easy to unbuckle themselves from their seats, too.

The stroller seat on the Demi Grow is the finest available. It features a padded seat liner that is useful for the cooler months. It can then be removed to reveal a mesh seat that is more breathable in the sweltering summer months. A padded headrest and shoulder straps are also included with the seats. It’s quite cozy. :c)

What parents say

“It’s well constructed and of quality. It’s simple to set up and fold up, too. Both my son and his wife like it.” – C., 5 stars

“If you intend to have children who are close in age, I would definitely recommend it. No other stroller can match its quality.” – L., 5 stars

“I waited so long to obtain this stroller. Now, I have to go without a stroller for my daughter because the handle stitching is coming undone after only a week. Nuna wants me to send the “frame only”. – L., 1 star

Accessorize Your Nuna Demi Grow Convertible Stroller
