“For the price, the quality is terrible. The stroller occasionally appears to be breaking apart right now. I’m not happy with it.” – A. January 19, 2020, 3 stars

Ease of Use

The Quest is equipped with a completely reclining 4-position seat that comes with an extensible memory foam footrest, turning it into a cocoon environment for infants. Its huge expandable waterproof UPF 50+ hood offers enough cover to protect your kid from the elements.

This stroller is one of the easiest to fold and unfold. It takes less than a minute to do either, and it’s very simple to do. All you need to do is release the catch on the side, fold it down, and then re-catch the lock. To unfold it, just do the reverse!

What parents say

“This stroller is the one to have if you’re seeking for something incredibly straightforward. It’s cozy for the infant, and lightweight!!!” – A. September 20, 2021, 5 stars

“It’s easy to use and portable” – M. March 11, 2019, 5 stars

“Nothing is more frustrating than trying to turn on a crowded city sidewalk only to find that the wheels are locked. These buttons eventually tend to stick, making it challenging to unlock them, a pointless “feature” that inevitably causes problems in real life.” – O. September 26, 2018, 1 star

“One of the wheels isn’t functioning correctly. It’s a little difficult to fold.” – J. March 28, 2021, 4 stars

“Very portable and adaptable! I can change it from a toddler stroller to an infant stroller in only 60 seconds. The straps require the most time to adjust, but as you practice, they get easier.” – S. November 23, 2019, 5 stars

Safety and Quality

The Quest is no exception, with a sturdy frame that can stand up to years of use. It has a number of features which make it a great choice for parents. This stroller includes a reclining seat, an adjustable footrest and a large storage basket – perfect for carrying everything you need when you’re on the go.

What parents say

“Always, the front wheels became jammed. This stroller has a significant design flaw.” – O. September 24, 2019, 1 star

“Despite the high cost of their strollers, Maclaren has been around for a reason. They are timeless. In fact, I still use one that is 10 years old and effortlessly pushes with just one hand.” – M. August 27, 2019, 5 stars

“Excellent quality; this is my second purchase. Great materials, a lightweight and beautiful design.” – B. July 17, 2021, 5 stars

“This is my second purchase, and it is of excellent quality. Excellent components, light weight, and lovely design.” – M. July 16, 2019, 1 star

Parent Tip!

While the Maclaren has a sturdy construction, be mindful not to rest anything weighty on the handles so it won’t flip over.

Portability

The Quest folds up quickly so that you can take it with you wherever you go. Whether you’re running errands or taking a walk in the park, this stroller is the perfect choice. Parents who want a safe, stylish, and easy-to-use stroller will surely enjoy the Quest.

What parents say

“I live in a city and I wanted something that would hold up to sidewalks, quickly fold for transit and would be light enough for me to carry. This exceeded my expectations. We’ve passed it on and it’s still being used frequently.” – E. September 28, 2019, 5 stars

“Because I live in a city, I needed a stroller that would withstand sidewalks, fold up easily for transportation, and be light enough for me to carry. My family and I were pleasantly surprised by this. Additionally, we let others use it and it is still in excellent condition.” – K. April 4, 2019, 2 stars

“Because of the stroller’s light weight, moving around and getting in and out of vehicles is much simpler.” – T. June 22, 2020, 4 stars

“Our second child will be using this Maclaren stroller. I love its premium appearance and the denim material. We can take it anywhere we go because it is practical and convenient to use.” – M. January 12, 2020, 5 stars

“Because it’s so compact and easy to fold, bus drivers occasionally won’t ask me to collapse it when I ride during rush hour.” – R. May 22, 2019, 5 stars

Maneuverability

Are you trying to find a lightweight, maneuverable stroller? Are you fed up with being constrained by the size and weight of your stroller? You might make the best decision by selecting the Maclaren Quest Stroller. This stroller is maneuverable and robust while still being lightweight.

On the other hand, this stroller is not without its cons. Maclaren states that the stroller is only for babies 6 months or older who can sit up unassisted; some parents have found that their younger babies cannot fit comfortably in the seat. Additionally, the Quest is not suitable for all types of terrain. While it can handle sidewalks and flat surfaces, it does not do well on rough or uneven ground.

What parents say

“My two-month-old infant can use it and it is lightweight and maneuverable. This product gets two thumbs up!” – S. July 25, 2021, 5 stars

“There’s nothing more aggravating than trying to navigate a crowded city sidewalk only to find that the wheels are locked when you try to turn. Eventually, these buttons start to stick and it becomes difficult to unlock them. A completely unnecessary “feature” that quickly becomes a hindrance in the real world.” – O. September 26, 2018, 1 star

“Undoubtedly, this is not an off-road stroller. It struggles on difficult terrain and nearly gets stuck entirely. It does, however, travel without incident on grass, which is surprising. This is your stroller if you’ll be in the city, a theme park, or on a flat surface.” – A.  May 15, 2019, 5 stars

“Due to a 1-inch rise in the pavement caused by two slabs that weren’t exactly placed, we came to a HARD STOP today. Given its center of gravity, I have trouble pushing this onto the road and backing up a curb as well. It’s not “tippy” which is excellent news, but it’s impossible to maneuver anywhere but the mall.” – K. April 4, 2019, 2 stars

Accessorize Your Maclaren Quest

The Quest comes packaged with a superior wind-resistant rain cover and tether strap. Unfortunately, it does not have a child tray or cup holder, so snacks and drinks are not easily accessible for young children. Additionally, it is not compatible with many car seat adapters, making it difficult to use as a travel system.

Despite these drawbacks, the Maclaren Quest Stroller remains a popular choice for many parents, thanks to its durable and sleek design and its ease of use.

What parents say

“This stroller may be used from birth with the addition of a separate newborn and carrycot (bassinet). It’s something I wish I had known before my child outgrew his or her infant car seat and bulky matching stroller by six months.” – A. May 25, 2018, 5 stars

“You can buy cup holder accessories, but they’re not particularly useful. I got another one since the one I used on the metro was so weak that even plastic water bottles came blasting out of it. It must have fallen off when I folded it up and carried it up the subway steps.” – C. July 10, 2019, 2 stars
