Meet the BOB Gear Revolution Flex 3.0

The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 is a premium stroller that is solidly built with long-lasting components, giving the look of tough competence that doesn’t let its users down.

This BOB is a possible candidate for daily usage thanks to its generous storage, comfortable seats, and upgraded canopy features. With adjustable tracking, suspension, and handlebar which maintain its straight line of travel and enhance runner ergonomics, the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 is a remarkable jogging stroller.

BOB has produced a number of joggers over time, including the first jogger with a locking front wheel, which improved the stroller’s mobility.

One slight hiccup – the Revolution Flex 3.0 is more difficult to store in tight spaces due to its larger fold and inability to self-stand compared to some of its rivals. Still, the Flex 3.0 is a jogger we highly recommend if your space permits it and you enjoy running or venturing off the main route.

BOB is currently owned by Britax.

Value for Money

The Bob Revolution Flex 3.0 costs $549.99 on Amazon, excluding attachments.

Parents who have tested this stroller gave its performance and quality excellent points. This stroller is also suitable for off-road hiking and running errands. Despite some of its rivals being lighter and easier to fold, parents believe that most families will be amazed with the Flex 3.0’s overall features and discover that it will satisfy their needs for many years to come.

What parents say

“It’s ideal for parents who jog. Totally comfortable for a newborn, toddler, or preschooler while being well-built and robust! Worth every penny you spend!” – T. September 28, 2021, 5 stars

“I appreciate that I can check on my little one while pushing the stroller. It is most definitely worth the money, for those who aren’t sure or wondering.” – J. January 18, 2021, 5 stars

“While this stroller is too expensive, its features are superb. You get what you pay for. It’s only great to have while you use it, but it also has a great resale value because everyone seems to want one.” – A. May 13, 2020, 5 stars

“Customer service suggested for me to buy a more durable inner tube even if I had just spent $700 on the stroller. The limited warranty and the customer service are both useless.” – K. September 24, 2020, 1 star

Ease of Use

The Flex 3.0 is more user-friendly than the Flex 2.0 and offers more storage possibilities. It enhances the daily lives of parents, particularly those who want to use jogging strollers as a regular option.

In terms of folding – this stroller requires two hands, three steps, and includes release levers, a pull handle, and a manual lock. It employs the standard BOB fold. It is worth noting that some parents find the Flex 3.0 quite difficult to fold/unfold.

What parents say

“This stroller is on the heavy side, but the fold and unfold is still easy.” – T. October 29, 2020, 5 stars

“Its car seat is easy to install and functions nicely. The price paid for this stroller and car seat is unquestionably justified.” – J. May 6, 2021, 5 stars

“Given how effectively it works, it might be necessary to put some effort into folding the under-basket because it’s heavy, tough to access, and difficult to fold.” – Z. September 9, 2021, 5 stars

“The only drawback we’ve seen so far is how awkward this stroller is to handle when folded. In contrast to some of the other models we looked at, it doesn’t automatically lock when folded.” – W. May 2, 2021, 4 stars

“The brake is simpler to engage or disengage even when wearing sandals.” – K. June 4, 2021, 5 stars

Portability

This stroller lacks a carry strap and self-standing capability. It can be challenging to lift and carry due to its bigger size and hefty fold. Yes, it unfolds quite easily and locks into place, although it does require two hands to do it. As a result, Flex 3.0 has a lower score in this department.

What parents say

“In terms of folding, it’s difficult to recommend this stroller as it doesn’t have a compact fold. It might be possible to remove the wheels to reduce the size, but that’s hardly feasible.” – G. May 3, 2020, 2 stars

“Folds really effortlessly, but be aware that it is a little hefty due to its sturdy construction. To avoid having to lift into a trunk, a van or SUV would be advised.” – R. May 2, 2021, 5 stars

“The main drawback is the stroller’s weight, which you won’t really notice but is unquestionably not light. It is also by no means a small stroller; instead, it is a full-sized stroller with a lot of features.” – A. April 14, 2021, 5 stars

“My BOB single stroller was the nicest one I’ve ever owned, but it’s too hefty! Caused me to get shoulder and arm tendonitis.” – V. February 13, 2021, 3 stars

Maneuverability

The Flex 3.0’s three-wheel design makes tight turns simple, and the sizable pneumatic rubber tires easily traverse practically any terrain. This stroller is maneuverable in congested areas despite its greater size, and we believe it outperforms its rivals on uneven terrain. This BOB moves without a hitch and may be propelled with one hand.

The front wheel of the Revolution Flex 3.0 can be locked into position to prevent it from moving while navigating uneven or difficult terrain.

What parents say

“This is how a stroller should be, whether you’re running or walking. Even with turns, it’s simple to push.” – A. November 6, 2020, 5 stars

“Now that it’s chilly outside, I’ve observed that the shocks have started to squeak. If you pay attention to it, it’s annoying, but it’s not a big concern.” – R. November 17, 2021, 5 stars

“It is incredibly quiet, handles well, and absorbs bumps while still providing a comfortable ride for the infant.” – J. January 18, 2021, 5 stars

“In every sense, BOBs are the greatest. Through various terrains, they are quite simple to control.” – T. February 4, 2020, 5 stars

Safety and Quality

The fabric used by the BOB is thick canvas, which indicates that it would last a long time. With a liquid-resistant coating, the Flex 3.0’s thermo-molded seat is padded and simple to clean. Its plastic wheels are thick and appear to be off-road capable, and the frame is strong and doesn’t flex or rattle much.

The 3.0’s build and parts are of comparable quality to those of the rest of the BOB lineup. However, not much has changed over the years and what has changed hasn’t always been for the better.

What parents say

“Although the stroller came highly recommended, after only two months of use, I already needed to replace or repair the second inner tire tube. If this is the level of upkeep required, select another brand to save money.” – M. May 23, 2021, 1 star

“Although the new design was said to be more durable, I find it difficult to use and it seems a little overdone. Apart from that, this stroller is incredible.” – T. October 29, 2020, 5 stars

“I’ve used BOB products for almost ten years, and I’ve always been pleased with their quality and design overall. Because of how simple it is to clean, I have also had little to no trouble cleaning and removing and reinstalling the cloth from the seats.” – B. May 17, 2021, 4 stars

Accessorize Your BOB Revolution Flex 3.0

Most high-end strollers do not include attachments like cup holders, parent/child trays and rain covers. You can buy them separately on Amazon and other online stores.

The BOB Parent Console has a zippered center pocket which is suitable for phones or keys, plus two deep cup holders. It is practical for having supplies nearby.

The BOB Single Snack Tray provides areas for cups and snacks which can make prolonged trips more pleasurable for the little passengers.

Also, you can buy the single Weather Shield. It is a fantastic accessory which helps to keep baby comfortable in any weather. The Flex 3.0’s weather shield can extend the number of times you can use your stroller by shielding your child from the elements, depending on your region’s weather trends.

Additionally, BOB offers car seat adapters for several well-liked infant car seat brands.

What parents say

“Just like other high-end jogging strollers, this one lacks cup holders and other extras. Since it’s simple to find a cheap universal cup holder online, I don’t mind buying it from there.” – N. September 8, 2020, 5 stars

“There isn’t a functioning cup holder. I currently have a large clip that I’m utilizing to hold my bottle. I’ll eventually purchase a cup holder for it.” –A. May 4, 2020, 4 stars

“This is a great purchase for our 3-year-old toddler! Additionally, we purchased a BOB snack tray and cup holder, all of which are unquestionably necessary.” – Z. September 9, 2021, 5 stars

Is the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 the Right Stroller for Your Family?

The most well-known jogger from the BOB company, this stroller excels in a variety of areas. It steers simply with one hand, has an amazing push-ability, and boasts cutting-edge suspension and tracking.

However, there are certain drawbacks, like the fold, the not so user-friendly lock, and the change from fixed to swivel mode. Most joggers wouldn’t trade the incredible push they receive for anything.

There’s much to love about this tried and tested quality stroller – we think that most families will enjoy using for daily strolls. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 has a price tag that’s worth paying for.
