Baby Jogger City Mini – Tested and Reviewed
Get to Know the Baby Jogger City Mini
The Baby Jogger City Mini is super light three-wheel stroller. There is also a four wheeled version available (Baby Jogger City Mini 4).
It handles really well on smooth surfaces, but we found it struggled a little off-road due to it’s lighter weight meaning it bounced around a little more. That said, air-rubber tires and all-wheel suspension are super-effective so perhaps we’re being a little fussy here.
The seat is quite spacious and comfortable however we would have preferred a footrest for our older child. It is aimed at a wide range of ages (up to 50lbs / 42 months) and so you think they should have covered this. It is a trade-off with the lightweight design I guess.
It has a fully flat backrest recline and a nice wide-coverage with the hood which has a couple of peek-a-boo windows to keep an eye on the little one.
The storage basket is great and has lots of capacity – expanded even further with a couple of extra pockets in the hood and the seat.
With adaptors is compatible with the Baby Jogger car seats. Other accessories like a snack tray or bumper bar have to be paid for.
The handlebar is adjustable which is unusual on a jogger and there is a hand-operated braking system which is my personal preference as I hate jiggling about with foot brakes.
