The Comfort In The Word Story
The Great Stuff Company is proud to have been chosen as the e-commerce partner of Comfort In The Word. It is great to partner with another ethical family business and the Comfort In The Word Bible Verse Baby Quilt is the most wonderful Christian baby gift we have seen. Comfort In The Word is based in Cutler Bay, Florida and was founded by Ann and Bruce Zipper over ten years ago.
The company began almost by accident. Ann was reading a story to her daughter Lauren about a young boy who was afraid in the night; but who was comforted by sleeping with his Bible under his pillow. Little Lauren came up with the idea of a baby quilt with the Word of God embroidered on it!
Hence ‘Comfort In The Word’ was born.
Ann designed the quilt herself and Bruce was in charge of making it a reality. Ten years later and the company is going from strength to strength and son Jordan is about to take over the reins.
All the time Ann and Bruce have stuck to their ethical principles and have donated many of their quilts and a portion of their profits to orphanages and charities around the world.
